    1. Debbie, thank you so much! That’s such a lovely thing to say! It’s a beautiful plant, and very attractive to all sort of butterflies and bumble bees. This particular bank of marjoram (in Winchester, UK) is a hive of life in the summer; it’s not only a good source of nectar for insects, but a perfect protection for the rabbits living in the burrows they’ve built underneath. We do live in a wonderful world. :)
      Thank you for stopping by.

      1. you captured the plant well, and the butterfly. its an unusual butterfly picture because it doesnt focus on the butterfly itself, which to me makes the butterfly more beautiful, because its in motion, in setting, in communion and in harmony with all around it. sounds like you are pretty much part of your place in the world too and know a lot about the flora and fauna. WordPress photo challenges are great to explore the world!
